Poland is a strongly Catholic country, and it was no surprise to see their beloved, recently departed Pope John Paul II immortalized in a sculpture in St. Kinga's chapel in the Salt Mine. ("Kyle! No licking the Pope!")

That statue of the pope was still being constructed when I was in Poland. Crazy, huh?
